The Stoned Intellectual

I was tumbling through various tumblrs when I came upon this gem!

That being said, I immediately decided that I was going to use it for my stoned thought/ramble of the day.

Both the quote and the artwork are significant.

I like to think that Dr. Suess wrote both for the children, teaching simple lessons, and to the parents reading the books to the children.

The artwork was always amazing to me. I loved it. The vibrant colors, the whimsical shapes, and the interesting characters.

I particularly love the quote. It’s as true as true can be. I believe that every day, you become more “you” than you were the day before. You discover something new about yourself every day, be it a new like or a new dislike. The realization that you’ve outgrown some friends, and long to be closer to others. Noticing that you’re growing up. It’s all relevant to finding out who you are as a person.

Anywho, I love Dr. Suess. And I think that his books have all sent a good message.
